Stormsteg Farm Alpaca Beans
Grow with Us
An often overlooked by-product of the alpaca, alpaca manure (or “beans”) is one of, if not the very best, natural fertilizers available on the market today! Alpaca beans are not required to be “aged” or “cured” prior to use, meaning it will not burn the plants it comes in contact with and can be applied to seedlings and mature plants alike without worry. And thanks to the alpaca’s amazingly efficient digestive system, foreign seeds are not allowed to germinate and all organic matter is decomposed- allowing your plants to take center stage and grow with success and without worry about unwelcomed seeds invading your garden. Contact Kristyn at Stormsteg Farm to arrange your manure pickup, or contact our friends at
Plants Unlimited at www.plants-unlimited.com, for delivery .

Farming for recovery
Growing Healing, Cultivating Hope
At Stormsteg Farm, healing is a shared journey. The animals who call this place home have come from difficult pasts, carrying the weight of neglect, abandonment, and trauma. With time, patience, and love, they are rediscovering trust, joy, and the comfort of a safe space. In helping them heal, we find that they help us heal in return. Whether through the quiet companionship of an alpaca, the gentle presence of a llama, or the simple rhythm of farm life, Stormsteg Farm offers a space for renewal, connection, and growth. If you are seeking a place to rebuild, to find peace, or simply to be in the presence of resilient, loving beings, Stormsteg Farm welcomes you. Whether you are healing from a harrowing event or a formidable past, you are not alone. As volunteers, you work side by side with the animals, learning from them as much as you care for them. Together, we are building a brighter, more compassionate future—one rooted in understanding, mutual support, and transformation. Join us in this journey! Contact Kristyn at Stormsteg Farm, for more information on how to apply as a volunteer!
I look forward to hearing from you!
